NEW: Mayor Eric Adams and Edward A. Caban have released new information showing that approximately 48% of individuals arrested on Tuesday evening at Columbia University and City College of NY protests were unaffiliated with the schools.

NYC Mayor Adams releases NYPD data on Columbia, CCNY arrests:

29% of the arrests at Columbia and 60% of arrests at CCNY included unaffiliateds.

New: Of the 282 arrested at Columbia University and City College of NY, 134 were not “affiliated” with either school.

The remaining 148 did have an affiliation, according to a NYPD official who shared the breakdown with CNN.
