Get to know invasive plants: Dog-Strangling Vine (DSV)
-Climbs up and crowds out trees/other plants
-Threatens species at risk - Eastern Meadowlark/ Bobolink grassland nesting areas; Monarchs mistake it for their host plant, milkweed (larvae can't survive with DSV as food source)

Get to know Invasive Species: European Buckthorn:
-spreads easily via animal consumption of berries
-can outcompete many native species
-alters the soil to improve its own growth conditions
-grows leaves early in spring, last to drop leaves in fall
