EMEWS is an essential tool to mitigate risk for patients waiting TOO long to be seen in ED. But for every patient we prioritise, another patient waits longer. The solution is to resource EM to see all patients within the Triage target time.

#OurMaterTeam recently participated in a training exercise involving the transfer of a highly infectious diseases 'patient.' As the #Mater is home to the National Isolation Unit, such simulations prepare our dedicated staff should such events occur in the future.

Manchester Triage System refresher and update training for some of our senior team delivered by Melania and Josie our shiny new MTS Instructors. This was the first of 4 sessions ongoing over the next few weeks. Great start guys !!!
