Midday work ban rules generally do not have specific provisions that address transportation. Companies stop work, but workers are either stuck on site until work resumes, or spend more time travelling to and from their accommodation. These hours are not considered working hours.

On paper, only workers in the Oil & Gas sector are usually exempt from the midday work ban regulations. But delivery workers in the F&B sector who use motorbikes, attendants in petrol stations, & security guards continue to work through the midday ban without any regulations.
